The First International Exhibition and Conference Basic Trends in Development of Turkmenistan’s Power Industry was held in August 2008 has caused high interest in specialized enterprises from many countries. It was attended by all, without exception, departments and enterprises of Turkmenistan’s energy and engineering, 52 companies from 22 countries, among them Siemens (Germany), General Electric (United States), “Lotus enerji” (Turkey), WEST FSE (UAE), COMPAX INTERNATIONAL (Israel), “Technopromexport”, “Hydromasservice”, “Sevcabel”, “Energomera concern” (Russia) and other renowned companies presented their potential at the Exhibition.
The 2nd International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Basic Trends in Development of Turkmenistan’s Power Industry” was held at the Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat on December 7-9, 2009.
This time the energy forum at the largest exhibition centre in the region presented over 110 stands that vividly demonstrate the key fields of the activity of the state enterprises and private companies from Turkmenistan and numerous foreign companies. The exhibition and conference gathered 52 foreign companies from 18 countries worldwide including Austria, Belgium, Japan, Germany, France, the United States, Turkey, China, Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan and a number of other countries.
Among the participants there were world famous companies, including Itochu, General Electric, Bosch, Siemens, Zeppelin, BEKO, Calik Energy, Lotus Energy, Polimeks, ABB, ENEX , Wartsila and many other companies, specialized in manufacturing of electro technical equipment and industry service providers.
The 3rd International Exhibition and Conference “The Basic Trends of Development of the Electric Power Industry of Turkmenistan 2010” was held on October 1-3, 2010.
This economic review organized by the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Turkmenistan in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan together with the support of the technical operator — Negus Messe Service GmbH, was another step towards Turkmenistan’s integration into the global economy, attracting investment and advanced technology into the industry.
The Exhibition and Scientific Conference gathered over 50 foreign companies from 17 countries worldwide including the United States of America — General Electric, Honeywell; Russia — United Engine Corporation, Hydromashservice, Yarovit Energo, Global Insulator Group, INTER RAO UES ; China — Jiangsu, TBEA; Iran — Golnoor Lighting Group, Sunir; Switzerland — Alstom; France — Sergi Holding; Italy — Tesar s.r.l., iGuzzini; Belgium — Enex; Germany — Siemens; Great Britain — Bee Energy Group; Turkey — Lotus Energy, Er-san, Calik Energy and others. Most participants are companies specialized in manufacture and supply of electro technical equipment, as well as technology development for electric power generation, transmission and distribution.
